The journey

I walk miles upon miles.

Till my feet are blistered, my lungs burning, my spirit raw.

I travel in all manners of transport. By air and land and sea. For hours, days and weeks.

I travel this vast, wild world.
All the while,
failing to see
that the place I so desperately long to go,
has been inside me
every step of the way
